Elliot Miller’s Booking: Open
Fill Out The Booking For A Tattoo From Jessica
My name is Elliot Miller. If I remember right, I started drawing at the hospital 22 years ago when I was born. I’ll always say that my mother gave me my initial eye when she showed me the fine art of coloring books. I gravitated towards cartoons and illustrations spending loads of time watching the “making of” special features in Disney movies. I wanted to be as good of an artist as they were. Competition with my older brother accelerated my drawing ability. I won a Dairy Queen ice cream cake contest in elementary school, destroying the competition. In Middle School I was awarded a Saturday school for my depiction of Bugs Bunny. I began focusing on realistic work in high school when I was given a great teacher and friend who helped mature my relationship with art. Shoutout to Mr. Hauber. Getting voted “most artistic” was more valuable than my diploma.
I graduated and continued to sell commission work ranging from portraits and logos to custom guitars while skipping between part time jobs as a waiter, pool boy and landscaper. In 2021, I drew a portrait of my late grandfather whose face had not been seen by his extended family for years. In witnessing his family’s emotions, I was made certain that I would try and become a professional artist. I tested my luck by creating murals which I’ve been enjoying since July of 2022.
In my search for a new wall, I ended up meeting Andrew Bissell in his 7inks shop where he offered me an apprenticeship. The work done by him and his artists is a true testament to his business and the tattooing medium. Offering art to others has always been my motivation and tattoos seem like the highest and most powerful version of that. I’d be honored to become a member of those who immortalize their work in such a personal and meaningful form.
