FAQ

Our Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make an appointment?

To book an appointment there is a short application located on each artist page. You must fill out and send this form to the artist you would like to be tattooed by. These forms are then reviewed by the artists or artist’s assistant. If your design is accepted by the tattooer he or she will book you a consultation. During the consultation you will discuss all aspects of the tattoo and leave a deposit to book an appointment. The deposit does go toward the cost of the tattoo.

Are deposits required and are they refundable?

Every booked appointment will require a deposit. The deposit amount will range artist to artist. These deposits are non-refundable unless under certain rare circumstances.

How much does a tattoo cost?

The pricing of a tattoo will depend on a number of factors. Each artist has their own hourly rate. Some artists have flat rates for half day and full day bookings. Hourly rates rage artist to artist. You can contact any artist through our application process for an estimated price.

Do we have a shop minimum?

As any other shop, yes, we do have a shop minimum. This minimum price is $80. Under certain circumstances will we charge less then this. Keep in mind it does cost an artist a specific amount of money to just set up their equipment for a tattoo, regardless of the tattoo size. That is the reason to hold a shop minimum.

Do we take walk ins?

The artists at the shop are very busy and prefer to work by appointment in order for to better prepare for your tattoo. However we do welcome walk ins during shop hours. If an artist is not busy with a scheduled client, he or she may be available to you. We do recommend calling ahead before stopping up to check artist availability.

What should I do to prepare for my tattoo session?

There are many of important things to consider when getting ready to tattoo. To avoid excessive bleeding, we recommend avoiding any sort of blood thinners 2-3 days prior to your tattoo appointment. Examples of common blood thinners include; caffeine, pre-work out supplements, alcohol, Tylenol, Advil, and aspirin.
It is also very important to get a good nights rest. Make sure to eat a decent meal before coming in, feel free to bring snacks and/or drinks. Please be sure to have good hygiene and wear comfortable and appropriate clothing that does not interfere with the area being tattooed.
If you are on any meditations/antibiotics or are feeling unwell please inform your artist as soon as possible.
*Artist are subjected to reschedule your appointment if he or she feels you are unprepared for your appointment.

Can I get tattooed with sunburnt, burnt, cut, scarred, bruised or peeling skin?

If you have any concern with your skin in the area your art is to be tattooed please contact your artist prior to the appointment. Please do not show up with any of these without contacting your artist first. If you are to show up with any of these issues the artist does reserve the right to reschedule your appointment and potentially keep your deposit due to the lost day of work

Can the artists draw something up for you or someone you know?

Unfortunately without a deposit and scheduled appointment we will not spend our time designing artwork for anyone who is not committed to the tattoo.
Some artists will not send designs out prior to the tattoo appointment.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?

Each artist has their own guidelines and requirements for rescheduling a booked appointment. Please contact your artist as soon as possible for any changes or rescheduling.
